During our break time, me and my office mate get together to eat. One of them became my friend, I think almost a year now. He always talks about his family, specially about his grandmother. He talks to me because he needs someone, someone who can give suggestion to his problems. His grandmother was sick for almost 3 years now and is bed ridden. Although a nurse is taking care of his grandmother, he wants more security because what if his grandma have fallen or something. He cannot afford to hire a second nurse. The thing is all of them are employed, there is no one in his family that have the time to take care for his grandma. He said that he has no option but to give up his job.
There are plenty of option aside from quiting the job, I then told him to buy something that can alert the nurse or someone whenever his grandma needs medical attention, some kind of a Medical Alert device.
